This volunteer in-home care program has been developed by Catholic Charities. They recruit and train volunteers to care for older or disabled people in their homes while family members take a break to shop, run personal errands or just take some needed time alone. Each family is allowed up to four hours of in-home respite care per week. If you are a caring and compassionate person, you can be a Catholic Charities Respite Care Volunteer.
