Engaged Couple Workshop
The purpose of
marriage preparation is to
ensure that engaged couples have
considered and discussed a wide
range of topics that will
influence their married life.
Please call Karen
and Scott Kavanagh at 724-772-0108 (before 9:00 pm) to
make arrangements to attend the
program.
Couples are encouraged to go
through a marriage preparation
program at least six months
before their wedding date. This
will allow the couple to
seriously reflect on the
enormous step they are about to
take. Our next session is:
March: 11,18, 25 from 5:00 -
8:00 pm
in the Upper Room.

Diocesan
Requirements
1. The
couple needs to call the parish at
least six months in advance. We
encourage you to call as soon as you
are engaged to ensure your wedding
date and registration date for
marriage preparation.
2. Pre-marital instruction is
required. Please contact the rectory
for programs available at St.
Ferdinand. Instructions are also
held at the Diocesan Office in
Pittsburgh periodically and through
a weekend stay at an Engaged
Encounter. Information on these
pre-marital instructions can be
obtained by calling the Diocese at
412-456-3160.
